Tallow & Raw Honey Face Balm

Tallow is a gently rendered, nutrient-rich fat sourced from cows — and it’s been used for centuries as a powerful, natural skin healer.

Our ancestors relied on tallow to nourish and protect their skin long before modern skincare existed. But over time, it was replaced by lab-made creams filled with chemical preservatives, petroleum byproducts, cheap vegetable oils, and synthetic additives — all in the name of convenience and shelf life.

At NX1 PROJECT, we’re bringing back what actually works — real ingredients your body recognizes, just like it used to.

The face balm and body balm are very similar, but there are a couple key differences:

Face Balm:

 • Made with sweet almond oil

• Comes in 60ml jars

Body Balm:

• Made with coconut oil instead of almond oil (ideal for anyone with nut allergies)
• Comes in larger 120ml jars

You can use both products interchangeably on your face and body, as long as you’re not allergic to nuts.

Unscented Face Balm;

Grass-fed Tallow, Tallow, Coconut oil, Beeswax & Raw Honey.

Lavender Face Balm;

Grass-fed Tallow, Tallow, Sweet almond oil, Beeswax, Raw Honey & Lavender essential oil.

Mandarin Silk Face Balm;

Grass-fed Tallow, Tallow, Sweet almond oil, Beeswax, Raw Honey, Sweet orange essential oil & Red Mandarin essential oil.

Body Balm;

Grass-fed Tallow, Tallow, Coconut oil, Beeswax, Raw Honey, Sweet orange essential oil & Frankincense essential oil.

Our balms are available in both scented and unscented options. The scented versions are infused with either Lavender, Red mandarin or Sweet Orange, delivering a subtle fragrance. For those with allergies to essential oils, we recommend choosing the unscented option. Please note that since our balms are made primarily with beef tallow, you may find it has a more noticeable natural tallow aroma.

Many of our customers have noticed smoother, more hydrated skin within days of initial usage.

Our balms do contain a very small amount of raw honey, so technically we can't claim that they're suitable for newborns.

That said, many of our customers have chosen to use our Unscented Face Balm on their newborns and have shared some fantastic feedback, particularly given the very small quantity of honey in the formula.

If you were considering trying one, we'd recommend starting with the Unscented Face Balm and carrying out a small patch test first.

Our product is not a medicinal product therefore, we cannot claim that it will treat specific skin conditions.

We currently only ship throughout the UK and USA.

We aim to despatch items on the next working day therefore; your order should be with you within 3-4 working days of placing it.

At the moment, we don't sell sample sizes unfortunately (we're working on this currently)

All of our products are handmade therefore; we are currently only just keeping up with the demand for our full sized products.

Our products are cosmetic products, not medicines, and under UK law we’re not able to make medical or medicinal claims.

What we can say is that our balms are made with natural ingredients and are designed to deeply moisturise, protect the skin barrier, and support overall skin health. Many customers choose our products for concerns such as dry, sensitive, or compromised skin, and we regularly hear positive feedback regarding how well our products have benefited our customers.

That said, everyone’s skin is different, and results can vary. We can’t guarantee how any product will work for an individual or for a specific condition.

If you have a diagnosed skin condition, are experiencing severe symptoms, or are under the care of a medical professional, we recommend checking with them before introducing any new skincare product.

We recommend using our balm morning and night, as part of your daily routine — but feel free to apply it as often as your skin needs.

Our Tallow & Raw Honey Face Balm isn’t refined, bleached, or chemically altered to look and feel the same every time — and that’s exactly why it works so well.

It’s made with Grass-fed beef tallow and raw honey, straight from nature — not a lab.

So yes, you might notice some differences from batch to batch in colour, texture, or scent. That’s not a flaw — it’s a sign of something real.

When you work with natural, unprocessed ingredients, they reflect the seasons, the animal’s diet, and the environment they come from.

That’s what makes it powerful. That’s what makes our product so good.

Our Tallow Balm keeps fresh for 6 months after opening.

We never use toxic preservatives or synthetic chemicals — just real, whole ingredients that hold up well on their own.

To keep your balm in peak condition, simply store it in a cool place and keep the lid sealed tight. If you prefer a firmer consistency you can stick your balm in the fridge. If your balm softens due to heat, you can also place it in refrigerator to solidify.

Our unscented face balm does not contain limonene.

Our scented products (Mandarin Silk Face Balm, Lavender Face Balm, and Golden Orange Body Balm) do contain small amounts of natural essential oils — and therefore do contain limonene.

So if you need something strictly limonene-free, the Unscented Tallow & Raw Honey Face Balm is the safest option and can be used on both the face and body.
